Who We Are

QualitySmith is a subsidiary of Reply! Inc. Reply! radically simplifies local online marketing by connecting locally-targeted advertisers with perfectly-targeted consumers. Our culture is that of a startup company. We work hard, smart, as a team, and we like coming to work. We have multiple locations, but this job will be housed in our Portland, OR office. Affiliate Marketing Specialist

Description:

The Affiliate Marketing Specialist will assist in the management of QualitySmith's affiliate marketing efforts in the home improvement vertical. Candidates should demonstrate a proven track record for driving online consumer traffic and delivering positive ROI.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement affiliate marketing campaigns. Grow successful and profitable affiliate acquisition opportunities.
  • Manage network, affiliate, and sub-affiliate relationships.
  • Develop, expand and optimize campaigns and creative.
  • Daily reporting and in-depth quantitative analyses of KPIs and actions to improve daily performance.
  • Provide analysis and risk vs. reward modeling on both network and volume expectations.
  • Assist with conversion optimization strategy and A/B landing page testing to improve performance.

Qualifications:

Search Engine Marketing Specialist

Description:

The Search Engine Marketing Specialist will assist in the management of QualitySmith's Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Pay Per Click (PPC) efforts in the home improvement vertical. Candidates should demonstrate a proven track record for driving online consumer traffic and delivering positive ROI.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement SEM campaigns. Grow successful and profitable search engine marketing traffic acquisition opportunities.
  • Set-up bulk sheets, write ad copy, maximize CTR and increase quality scores through optimization techniques.
  • Develop, expand and optimize campaigns & ad groups, keyword lists, improve ad copy titles and descriptions.
  • Desire to stay on top of competitor's strategies and keyword portfolios.
  • Daily reporting and in-depth quantitative analyses of KPIs and actions to improve daily performance.
  • Provide analysis and risk vs. reward modeling on both engine and keyword expansion and volume expectations.
  • Assist with conversion optimization strategies and A/B landing page testing to improve performance.

Site Engagement Analyst

Description:

The Site Engagement Analyst will provide site analysis, assist with integration & engineering projects, develop mission critical reports and collaborate with both the marketing and engineering teams to optimize QualitySmith's consumer-facing websites.

Important Areas of Knowledge:

  • All forms of Web tracking (cookies, referral codes, etc.), including their requirements, limitations and effects
  • All forms of Web routing (redirects, proxies, etc.), including their requirements, limitations and effects
  • Web services integration via code snippets
  • Basic programming concepts: variables, namespaces, objects
  • Strong knowledge of HTML forms: construction, validation and submission
  • Working understanding of Web server capabilities and configurations (Apache)
  • PHP - specifically within MODX CMS (dynamic functionality, snippets, plugins)
  • Javascript (Ajax, JSON, jQuery)
  • Proficiency with MySQL queries
  • Experience using GitHub
  • Understanding of user engagement, activation, retention, and revenue

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years experience in conversion optimization, product development or user interface.
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude. Many projects will require the Site Engagement Analyst to explain complex technical processes to less technically minded individuals.

SEO Content Editor

Description:

Our marketing department is hiring an SEO Content Editor to produce and contribute to an already successful and established in-house content focused organic and social program. In order to take our program to the next level, we need an experienced print or digital copy editor who is driven, self-motivated, and interested in becoming a trained SEO. Candidates should demonstrate a proven track record of copy editing & writing in a professional setting. The position reports to and works closely with both the Director of Marketing and General Manager.

Responsibilities:

Initially, the position will produce and edit copy to expand and optimize our existing search engine optimization campaigns across multiple web-properties. This will include:

  • Optimization of existing content
  • Creation & publication of new content
  • Management of off-site content creation for link building purposes
  • Ability to manage multiple remote content writers
  • Copy editing any content on our sites, as well as internal documents / publications

Preferred:

  • Journalism (digital or print) experience as a producer, editor, or writer
  • Interest in becoming an SEO
  • Comfortable with OS:X. (MacAir / Macbook will be provided)
  • Working knowledge of Excel. Not afraid to use it frequently. Interested in both using it to solve problems and becoming an expert over time

Requirements:

  • Ability to regularly produce executive summaries & performance reports
  • Fluency with MS Office applications and general Internet / tech proficiency
  • Proven track record of successful project management and multi-tasking skills as well as ability to hit and exceed deadlines required
  • A thirst for knowledge and team mentality of improving everyone around you
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and thinks on your feet

Account Manager

Description:

Our Account Managers have a positive mindset and strive to hit weekly goals in an effort to ultimately impact the company bottom line. They also enjoy spending much of the time talking on the telephone with customers and contractors/shops across the country. Account Managers are service minded and friendly but are also efficient with their time in order to reach personal and company-wide goals.

An ideal canidate for Account Manager would be someone who:

Responsibilities:

  • Make outbound calls, send emails & faxes, do telephone presentations/instruction to existing customers in your assigned states.
  • Take inbound calls from existing contractors (QualitySmith customers) and respond to their needs and challenges as they occur.
  • Present relevant information to contractors, (e.g. "how to get started you're the sales leads coming your way, Putting QualitySmith Best Practices to use for effective selling and positive ROI")
  • Add to the growing list of active contractors by reaching out to those that have discontinued our service temporarily, and by getting referrals from existing customers that you can hand off to the sales team as warm leads to follow up on.
  • Enter data into the CRM software for each point of contact (phone call, email, mail, etc.). Keep info up to date for tracking and reporting purposes
  • Work as a member of the team in support of your teammates when their load gets heavy or when they have to be away from the office.
  • Actively participate in making improvements to the Account Management process for the team

Preferred:

  • Account Management/Customer Support experience
  • Demonstrable integrity
  • Consultative or Strategic Sales training
  • Ability to work 6 AM to 3 PM or 7 AM to 4 PM shift

  • Make outbound calls, send emails & faxes, do telephone presentations to prospective vendors in the geographic locations specified as "high needs areas" based on volume of orders received
  • Take inbound calls from prospective contractors (QualitySmith customers and prospects) who have learned about us through partnerships, marketing campaigns or through other advertising channels
  • Present relevant information to contractors, adhering to a selling program and processes in place
  • Add to the list of prospective contractors through research and referrals
  • Enter data into the CRM software for each point of contact (phone call, email, mail, etc.). Keep info up to date for tracking and reporting purposes
  • Ask questions and complete paperwork necessary for activation
  • Attend sales training and self-educate to improve skills and performance
  • Actively participate in making improvements to the sales process for the team
  • Positively impact Revenue-Per-Order by targeting key prospects and selling to them
